Terms of Use

1. Who we are

The Service is operated jointly by Turo247Xpress Technology LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States, and Turo247Xpress Limited, a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria (together, “Turo247Xpress,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of the service

Turo247Xpress is a logistics and delivery platform that connects customers, riders, Shoppers, and businesses within Nigeria. Depending on which part of the Service you use, this includes:

• Package delivery, store pickup, and priority (“Emergency”) delivery for customers
• “Buy For Me” errands, where a Shopper purchases items on a customer’s behalf and delivers them
• Courier work for independent riders, matched to nearby delivery requests
• An in-app wallet for paying for and receiving refunds on orders
• The Turo247 Scout referral program, a separate program described in Section 9

Turo247Xpress acts as an intermediary connecting these parties. We are not a party to the underlying transaction between a customer and a Shopper for items purchased through Buy For Me, and we do not manufacture, sell, or take ownership of any goods delivered through the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Accounts

Creating an account requires a valid phone number, verified by a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (including any PIN you set) confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Riders, Shoppers, and Turo247 Scout participants go through an additional identity verification step, described in Sections 6–9 and in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send, request, or transport illegal, dangerous, or prohibited items
• Provide false or misleading information, including during identity verification
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or endanger another user
• Attempt to circumvent identity checks, payment processing, or fraud controls
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including through the account violation and suspension system described in our app documentation, which may apply time-limited or indefinite suspensions depending on severity.

6. Deliveries, Store Pickup, and Emergency requests

Turo247Xpress matches delivery requests with the nearest available, eligible rider. We do not guarantee a specific delivery time. We are not liable for items lost, damaged, or delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, incorrect address information, or the unavailability of the recipient.

Some deliveries require a PIN or photo confirmation at handoff to verify that the correct person received the item. You're responsible for keeping any delivery PIN confidential until the point of handoff.

7. Buy For Me and Shoppers

“Buy For Me” lets a customer set a budget for a rider or Shopper to purchase specific items on their behalf. The person shopping cannot spend more than the budget set for the errand. Unused budget is refunded to the customer's wallet. Shoppers are reimbursed for the actual cost of items purchased, plus a separate shopper fee; neither is a guarantee of profit on any individual errand.

Becoming a Shopper requires identity verification, including a National Identity Number (NIN) and a photo of the NIN document, reviewed before an account is approved. See our Privacy Policy for how this information is handled.

8. Riders

Riders are independent participants who choose when to go online and accept delivery requests; nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship between a rider and Turo247Xpress. Riders keep the majority of each fare they complete; Turo247Xpress retains a platform commission, disclosed to the rider on every completed delivery. Riders must complete identity and, where applicable, vehicle document verification before accepting deliveries.

9. Turo247 Scout

Turo247 Scout is a separate referral program, run on its own portal at scout.turo247xpress.com, with its own registration (including NIN verification), terms, and payout process. Participation in Scout is optional and governed by the terms presented on that portal in addition to these Terms where they apply to your use of the wider Service.

10. Payments, wallet, and fees

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partner. By making a payment, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees. You may also pay using your in-app Turo247Xpress wallet, which you can fund in advance.

Orders may be cancelled before a rider or Shopper accepts the request. Refunds are processed to your Turo247Xpress wallet, or in some cases your original payment method, typically within 3–5 business days.

11. Intellectual property

The Turo247Xpress name, logo, app design, graphics, user interface, and underlying software are owned by Turo247Xpress Technology LLC and Turo247Xpress Limited and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws, including the Nigerian Copyright Act (Cap C28 LFN 2004, as amended). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the website and mobile apps for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service, or use it to build a competing product.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@turo247xpress.com with a description of the work, its location on the Service, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Turo247Xpress will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We'll indicate the effective date at the top of this page.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, reflecting where the Service currently operates.
